• Consultant with the Turnaround and Construction Team to help manage, monitor, plan, schedule and budget all major capital projects and scope up to $50MM dollars, (brownfield and greenfield) for major Turnarounds/Shut-ins for BP’s Gulf of Mexico deep-water assets - Thunder Horse and Mad Dog.

• Plan all projects in FEL: Appraise, Select, Define, Execution to Close-Out phases; using the capital value   projects (CVP) process.

•Manage the project controls team utilizing the activity tracker and monitor scope control, resource selection and management with contractors and subcontractors, customer internal and external interface management.

• Provide assistance with gap analysis closures of projects; attend peer reviews and audits on all projects.

• Assist scheduler by providing constructability assessment of job plans and /or project integrations.

• Help manage work pack writers develop execution work packs, collating necessary supporting documents.

• Help manage the development of step by step (by task) execution plans for jobs.

• Assist scheduler in the management of the overall master project schedule, while maintaining bookie’s board and monitor progress against the schedule.

• Collaborate with team members to establish productivity factors and external constraints; attend peer reviews and develop decision support packages (DSP).

• Coordinate schedules from multiple contractors and integrating information into the overall activity tracker and identify potential execution risks to delivery, and help develop contingency plans.

• Evaluate critical paths and alternative schedule options to identify optimum project strategies, identifying and resolving any SIMOPS issues before / during execution.

Operations Coordinator/ Logistics-Materials Specialist, Gulf of Mexico, USA 2005 – 2011

 

·   Rotated through increasingly responsible contract positions offshore deep-water on the Mad Dog Spar.

·   Component of the leadership team for the operations and maintenance staff, providing support on all R&M and operational efficiencies, meeting all targets and KPIs, while safely producing and transporting mass quantities of refined oil, gas and other hydrocarbons safely from offshore to land.

·   Managed all construction projects, turnarounds and special projects while on board with the logistical movement of vessels, people, materials and equipment with full responsibility for safety and efficiency.    

·   Helped supervise all personnel, including contractors, subcontractors and other projects as needed.

·   Maintained operating budget, resources and man hours for production, drilling, construction and special projects; as well as shut-ins and major construction turnarounds.

·   Participated in internal and external audits, and handled all accident reporting, investigations, spill- reporting and equipment inspections.

·   Prepared shipping and cargo manifests for inbound and outbound, hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Hot shot equipment and DOT manifesting of materials shipped back to port.

·   Work pack reviews and walk downs; also assisting with RFI’s and revisions.

·   Created PO’s, order and coordinated materials; with inventory control and SAP/Maximo proficiency.

·   Staged all personnel, equipment and material; special projects, construction and turnarounds.

NALCO-CHAMPION, Rifle, Colorado                                          2011 - 2012

 

Account Manager

·   Recruited to exclusively manage the chemical program for EnCana Oil & Gas Inc. with 1,000+ producing wells in the Rocky Mountain Region.

·   Plan, schedule and forecast all chemicals, materials and resources with treatment programs to client.

·   Managed a team of engineers, technicians, drivers and pumpers to perform duties and meet KPI’s.

·   Supported operations in fracking, work-overs, intervention and completions on new and existing oilfield wells; as well as pigging operations and water treatment facilities.

·   Performed water sampling and failure analysis reporting for scale and corrosion, bacteria and H2S, paraffin and emulsion, water quality and down-hole treatments.

·   Implemented new treatment plans and strategies to maximize production capabilities.

·   Doubled the revenue of the EnCana account within one year, from $3 million to $6 million annually.

·   Cultivated and secured new business with Summit Midstream that generated $450,000 annually.
